About the SAFF.
The South Australian Fan Force is a group of Star Wars fans who are South Australian members of theforce.net's 'Fan Force' chat forums. More information about them can be found by clicking here. In addition to the reparte we share online, we often meet up for picnics, laser hunt, bowling, food and more. We also get involved in fund raising and other community service stuff.
History of the SAFF
The SAFF was started by the lovely Adalia Durron on the 24th of May 2004. A number of SAFFers were members of the departed 'PARSEC' mob, a Star Wars club started in Adelaide in 1998ish. Funny that many of the old mob have caught up again, but not too much of a surprise to some of us, as Adelaide is a smallish city. But it's all the faces, new and old (some older than others ) that help contribute to all of the fun.
With very Talented people on the SAFF that can use programs such as Adobe Photoshop. Dashy adobed the lightsabers in the top picture (taken at the 2006 Picnic).
