After fitting reduced reach peg mounts to the front, I had the original straight peg mounts laying around so it made sense to use them here. I don't own a lathe but I have access to one so it was simple to turn down the peg mount to the same length as the original bolt on the bike and then thread with M10x1.5. To set the finished tightened angle of the new mount I just had to play around with different thickness washers. My boot doesn't touch the exhaust heat shield. All components will be powder coated gloss black. The other option is Harley part 51089-06BK.

For the LHS, another original front foot peg mount is modified by parting off the excess in a lathe then centre drilling and tapping with M10x1.5. You could also use the original Harley peg mount 51097-06.
There is an original Harley bracket (51091-06BK) that can be used on the LHS but I had a piece of 6mm flat bar laying around so I decided to make my own. I've included a scan of the cardboard template that I made first - (use it at your own risk). I then made a thin sheet template to check the fit. A slight offset was added to the bracket so that the bolt head would clear the front pulley cover. Spacers were added behind the bracket to provide the required clearance. All components will be powder coated gloss black.
