COMMENTS
The Tigers continued their recent good form against finals bound opposition with a thrilling draw against the Eagles. With the Seasiders heading to their fifth successive victory at the 20th minute mark of the final term the Eagles slammed on three quick goals to level the scores with 90 seconds remaining. A victory was still likely when Josh Mahoney, unopposed in the goal square, appeared to have kicked the winning the goal. Unfortunately, the siren sounded a second before Mahoney could put boot to ball.

Ben Moore, who earlier in the week announced his retirement, withdrew from the side with general soreness. Matthew Duldig left the ground in the second quarter with an ankle injury and is doubtful for the elimination final against Sturt.

The draw was the second between the sides since 1991 with the first being in 1993 at Woodville Oval.
