THE COACH
(David Noble)
"
A win or a loss was probably irrelevant, it's the way we go about it...We've
just got to keep persevering and working away to bring those young guys
forward until we are able to increase and improve some of our A-grade quality."

COMMENTS
The
Tigers restored some creditabilty with the SANFL public by going down to
third place Sturt by 6 points. However, the Bays have recorded another
loss in a game that should have been won. Very little satisfaction
should be taken out of the game.
It
was a familar script for the Tigers. One poor quarter, outplay the
opponent for the rest of the game and waste opportunities in the last quarter.
David Noble stated after round 15, 'we just don't know how win'.
The big question is, 'does David Noble know how to successfully teach a
team to win?'
Aiden
Parker and Paul Sherwood were solid in defence, marking and repelling many
Sturt thrusts. Heath Culpitt was the catalyst to Glenelg's 7 goal
second quarter. Captain Ben Moore was a honest performer and
Ben Mules collected many telling touches on the half-back-flank.-
