Ingredients

2 cups plain flour
2 cups flaked oats
2 tblsp golden syrup
½ lb butter
1 ½ level teasp bicarb
2 cups coconut
1 cup sugar
~ 4 tblsp water

Method

  1. Melt butter & golden syrup (make really runny)
  2. Put warmed water on bicarb & pour in
  3. Sift in dry ingredients
  4. Cook on biscuit tray 10-15 min moderate oven
