Wombats Succumb To Gayhem

Well, like a fart in a gale, the Wombats' air of supremacy didn't hang around long. After bringing some semblance of brilliance to an otherwise lacklustre ESLF lineup, Damo and Bayls ensured that their former foe enjoyed a glorious victory in the game prior to the Wombats' fixture. Amped, pumped, and firing on all cylnders, these two players were clearly hungry for another victory as they returned to the court with the Wombats.

Sadly it was not to be.

Another depressing 4-0 loss was the bitter epitath to a night that promised to much.

A furious Damo had this to say in the post-game press conference:

"Yeah, nah, we know we're a bit out of form at the moment, but we'll come back. We've had a tough draw so far, and it's a credit to the boys that we've played as hard as we have. We'll take a lot away from tonight, and rebuild for next week. We're just taking it one game at a time. We're happy to get the one point. It's a team building experience. It's just a credit to the boys that we done so well."
