History

This is the only picture we have of the three who started it all.Aust. Ch. Shumah Kiltie (IMP.UK) an elegant Black and Tan girl with good dropped ears, Aust. Ch. Pindom Lady Fiona the dog in the middle and Aust. Ch. Shumah Perry (IMP.UK) a Black and Tan dog with (normally) lovely erect ears. Shumah Kiltie and Shumah Perry were imported from the UK in 1961 and Pindom Lady Fiona was bred by Harry & Margaret Spira from some of the original Miniature Pinschers that were brought into Australia in 1958.

Aust. Ch. Minelphi Donke Schoen a Champion and winner of three Royal Challenges at 10 months of age. Donny was then exported to New Zealand to Tamahere Kennels. His name appears back in many Australian and New Zealand Pedigrees.

Aust. Ch. Minelphi In The Mood was the winner of the very first Championship Speciality Show held by the Miniature Pinscher Club of New South Wales. His mother won Veterans at the same show.

Aust. Ch. Minelphi Calamaty Jane won Challenge at the Royal Melbourne Show in 1969. "Calam" is very prominently behind many of our pedigrees today.
