Kihon Aikido – Black
Belt Program
We guarantee you’ll pass
your black belt test with us after just three years of training. We have such confidence in
our methods that we guarantee your success or your money back. Our black belt
certification is supported by Iwama Ryu Aikido Australia and is recognised
internationally. • We promise to conduct ourselves in a highly
professional manner and provide you complete training in every aspect of
Aikido, including improvement in your awareness and confidence, the
development of your power, harmony and ki, your spirit energy, all whilst
teaching you effective self defence techniques against one or many attackers,
from the front or from the rear, with or without weapons. • You must train an average of four or more
hours per week over the three year period from when you join and be able
bodied throughout this time. Your training can include our regular ninety
minute classes held three times a week, any additional or private classes you
attend with us, and any seminars we offer or with which are associated. • You must adhere to our general code of
conduct and be receptive to our instructional advice. You must not behave in
such a way as to warrant your suspension or expulsion from our school. • We promise to be open to your individual
learning needs and personalise your training. This is one of the ways we can
guarantee your success. Keep in mind that we want you to accomplish your
goals, as your achievements add to our success as a school. Frequently
Asked Questions
How much does it cost to join? We have no joining fees. We
simply charge a monthly fee of $80 which covers membership and unlimited
training in our regular ninety minute classes held three times a week. To
further help you get started, we provide you with a uniform and weapons set,
free of charge. What’s not included in the monthly
fee? Should you require
additional uniforms or equipment, you will need to buy them. Gradings,
seminars and parties are also extra. We run special events as often as
possible, in both Adelaide and Melbourne. Where and when do you run classes? Activities Hall, Warradale
Primary School, Keynes Avenue, Warradale, South Australia Tuesdays 7:00pm –
8:30pm, Wednesdays 7:00pm – 8:30pm, Saturdays 10:00am –
11:30am How often should I train? You can train as little or
as much as you like, but we recommend you train an average of twice a week when
you first begin. This will ensure you will progress and be adequately

the left side of your screen. Just send us an email or give us a call to
arrange your introduction. We’re a very friendly group of people and we’ll
make you feel welcome, so don’t be shy. |
