Why I hate Spike

Ok, first of all, what is with his huge obsession with Buffy in Season 5. It was NOT love, it was obsession and lust. And his Buffybot (which I do admit was quite useful later on) was a crazed perverse thing to make. He just cannot get it that Buffy doesn't love him or want him. He should take a hint. In fact Buffy hated him. She told him many times. Also the reason that Angel left Buffy was so that she could 'be with someone who could take her into the light'. Spike had this thing going on where he thought that she belonged in the dark with him. Can anybody say 'up yourself'?! He told her that he loved her, but it was a destructive relationship. If he loved her he would want her to be happy, but instead he took advantage of her, trying to convince her that she was wrong and that she deserved to be punished like that. If he loved her, how could he live with himself after doing that?

Second of all, Season 6 is his worst season. Buffy still NEVER loved him. She only had lust like everyone else in this world. She just made some mistakes, the reason that Spike got lucky was because he was 'convenient', as she says. She just wanted to feel something, and he was the one who got the short straw. It made me feel physically sick to watch him enjoying her hatred of herself, to see her character self destruct, and to see all of her values stripped away. And he knew she never loved him even though she was sleeping with him. And still he didn't have the sense in his brain to stop. And she told Tara that it was wrong of her and she didn't want to do it, which shows she didn't want to be with him. She hated what she was doing and she hated him for being a part of what she was doing. In some of their sex scenes she says no to him, so that is technically rape. She was so weak, which is another reason why I hate Spike. He took all of her strength away just to satisfy his wants. What right has he to do that?

Thirdly, he tried to rape her. Nothing can justify that. Nothing. It was obscene and horrible. No one in this earth can tell me that that was the correct thing to do. He is so obsessed with sex and obsessed with Buffy that he wants her so bad he would hurt her. And I was appalled that afterwards he says 'why didn't I do it?'. He mustn't have felt that much remorse! You have to be seriously sick to do that to someone, and I don't care if he just wanted Buffy. As I said, nothing can justify attempted rape. That is disgusting. Angel would never hurt Buffy like that because he is truly in love with her and her with him. Also does anybody remember some of Buffy's exact quotes? 'I'm using you'. and also 'A vampire got me hot. one. You're just convenient'. And also in Season 7 she said about Angel: 'I loved him more than anything I will ever love in this life'. HELLO!? What was with him going mad in Season 7? So you got a soul get over it. And then he went off killing again. He is so attention seeking. What pisses me off is that he acts so 'I'm so nice like me Buffy, like me!' Then he goes off and does something completely stupid. He never ever loved her and she never loved him. One reason I dislike season 7 is because many of the episodes are centred around Spike. How dull. He just keeps saying 'I've changed'. I personally couldn't give a damn if Spike has changed. I don't think you should just forgive a would-be rapist because he apologises and says he's changed. He's a sick sick man.

I much preferred the Spike/Buffy relationship when they were friends. I liked them as friends, in fact. I used to like Spike in Season 2 when he wasn't all Buffy-whipped. All I can say now, is that he degraded Buffy as a character to the point where I can't ever look at her the same way, and thank god almighty that he was killed.
