How to configure X-Lite by Xten Networks for use with NodePhone™

Firstly you need to download X-Lite if you havn't already. X-Lite/X-Pro is being replaced by EyeBeam but you can still get if you hunt around. At the time of writing you can download a non-branded X-Lite from http://www.xten.com/index.php?menu=download

Download and install, when you run X-Lite for the first time you should see the below screen. You may also see the audio tuning wizard pop up which is a good idea to go through.

As pictured above click on the Menu button.

Next you need to configure each setting, clickon each items should enable you to enter details.

Your Username & Authorization User details are your node phone number e.g. 087xxxxxxx

Password: this is the same as your adsl/broadband password

Domain/Real, SIP Proxy, Out Bound Proxy are all sip.internode.on.net

Set Use Outbound Proxy to Always and your done, just click on the X on the top of the screen.

All going well you should see the above screen showing your logged in with your Node Phone Number showing up.

As shown above you can call the Internode IVR for free on 0882282999 or any of the other numbers listed below.
