Axel was born in 1993 and is our  homebody,  after briefly giving showing a go decided the couch was a much better deal. Some of his achievements were Best Puppy Dog 1994 Melbourne Royal and Best Opposite Junior in Show SBTCV Open Show under UK specialist Joyce Shorrock. Axel's hobbies were scaring the chickens, sunbaking and snoozing on the nearest couch.

On the 3 rd December 2005 Axel was put to sleep after suffering a short illness. He was 12 1/2 years old and will be much missed by the Trewin family especially Kahlia who's special boy he was.
