The Role of S.E.S. in Emergencies Personal Emergency & Evacuation Kits |
S.E.S. volunteers assist their local community in various ways. Enfield members attend incidents of flooding, storm damage involving fallen trees and damaged buildings, fire salvage and assist police in search and rescue operations, often in the most adverse weather conditions. The Enfield State Emergency Service is now one of the best equipped and most efficient in South Australia. Two new buildings have replaced three old second hand buildings that the unit had used since 1970. The new lecture hall is now one of the best training facilities of any SES Unit in the State and is often used as a venue for regional training courses. New members are very welcome. If you are able to help in your spare time, Enfield S.E.S. invites you to join them on Wednesday nights and can offer you training in Rescue, Administration, Operations, Communications and Catering. |
