These Dick Smith Electronics catalogue pages were scanned by Marty (http://www.retro-riders.com/tech/magz/index.html) and sent to Clockmeister (http://users.on.net/~clockmeister) for release to the Wizzard and VZ200/VZ300 community. TIMELINE
1983/84:
Dick Smith "Wizzard" first appearance
in catalog.
Dick Smith "VZ-200" first appearance in catalog.
1985/86:
Dick Smith "VZ-300" first appearance in
catalog.
1988/89:
- DSE dropped the Computers section out
of the catalog.
- Additionally, DSE now published a "Consumer Electronics
Catalog
1988/89" where all the computer stuff moved to...
- At this
stage, the ONLY computers for sale are "IBM compatibles",
leaving only 1/2 a
page of VZ200/300 "clearance" software.
1989/90:
- DSE re-introduces the Computers
section back in the main catalog.
("Consumer Catalog" is dropped).
- Only
3 pieces of VZ-300 hardware remain available, but no VZ software
available
anymore.
1990:
- VZ-200/300 products completely removed
from catalog now.
