I have restored a 130 coupe over a few years, having owned
a 130 for over 20, and my father had a 4 door since 1973.
the three cars used in the rebuild
the motor before and after being all cleaned up after 10 years of not being used...its actually of the 4 door 130..and yes it started..first time :) - once I had fixed the fuel line.
the rear axle cleaned, painted and ready to be bolted on.

body was bead blasted, rust removed and a light bogging to remove some of the waves in the body.
The body wasn’t too bad, but the coupe has long straight panels which reveal any imperfection…
painted in Ferrari silver cos I can…there is nothing wrong with the fiat colour, the
Ferrari one is lighter and more silver…I simply like silver cars, the more silver the better!!
The finished job !!

you have got to love the burnt orange (rust) colour trim…Austin Powers eat your heart out.

My car after the Bay to Birdwood run in 2007 and the Fiat 130 in the musuem itself...they turned around so you can see the best angles---ie the side.

Over the years I have collected many photos of 130s, here are some fun ones.
My favourite 130 photo off the net
I like this one too
and I met a guy called chris who had some real fun with his 130, especially in the
engine bay. This car sounded very cool.

Finally the cars that got me hooked on 130s many years ago..
First the 4 door that I drove, then my first coupe that ended up being reborn in the last couple of years.

More to come...possibly a movie or two :)
Ill also put in manuals and other info when I get time.
