Archimedean Tiling

The shape of the space we inhabit governs the existence of certain forms and the way they combine. Archimedean tilings are an example of the way we can combine shapes in 2 dimensions. Here is an svg implementation of an Archimedean tiling algorithm.

Eternity II

Eternity 2 is a puzzle released in July, 2007, with a US$2M prize awaiting the first person to solve it. I offered a project related to this puzzle to the advanced 1st and 2nd year computer science/software engineering students at Monash. This page describes that project, and some thoughts related to the puzzle.
